T\u00e9riade assembled a remarkable collection of works by renowned artists. A portion of this important collection is housed in the museum he donated to his birthplace on the island of Lesvos. It consists primarily of works by Greek artists, including Yiannis Tsarouchis, Orestis Kanellis, Giorgos Vakirtzis, and several other painters, all of whom represent the contemporary artistic movements of their time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Moreover, T\u00e9riade was the person who introduced Theophilos to a wider audience and recognized him as an authentic representative of Greek folk art. He was the one who highlighted the fact that Theophilos's paintings embodied the Byzantine tradition of mural painting, while also reflecting the past and the distinctive colours of Greek artistic expression.\n\nIt can be said that Theophilos\u2014who may justifiably be described as Greece's \"national folk painter\"\u2014would have remained unknown without T\u00e9riade, and that his artistic legacy might otherwise have been lost forever.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
